Illustrated Details of
"Cameras of Zeiss Ikon and Its Precursors"

Totally 400 cameras using glass plates, sheet films or roll films excluding 35mm types (which will be separately published later) of Zeiss Ikon and its Precursors including Krügener, Wünsche, Hüttig, etc. are described in this file system book. Among 400 cameras, 72 are printed in colour. English and Japanese versions are available.

AJCC Terms for Trading

These “AJCC Terms for Trading” (hereinafter referred to as “These Terms”) are applied to any relationship between “All Japan Classic-Camera Club” (hereinafter referred to as “AJCC”) and a purchaser of book(s) that AJCC sells (hereinafter book(s) that AJCC sells is/are referred to as “Book(s)”, and the purchaser of the Book(s) is referred to as “Purchaser”).
AJCC deems that Purchaser acknowledges and agrees with all of These Terms at the completion of his/her order. Minors shall offer to purchase Book(s) with parental approval.

Article 1. (Consideration of Purchaser)
1-1.All packaging cost and shipping cost of Book(s) borne by Purchaser. In addition, the amount of a bill for the Book(s), packaging cost and shipping cost is displayed on payment-page(s).
1-2.Purchaser shall preliminarily acknowledge and agree that purchased Book(s) may be prohibited or restricted to import in country or territory that the Purchaser specified as shipping-address.
Even if the purchased Book(s) is/are returned to AJCC or disposed because of the import prohibition or restriction, AJCC both accepts no liability for any damage, and does not refund the purchase price, delivery cost, or other fees that the Purchaser has already paid.
1-3.Purchaser shall preliminarily acknowledge and agree that registration to other services, such as online payment, etc., may be required for purchasing Book(s) through WEB site operated by AJCC (hereinafter referred to as “This Site”).
If it is necessary, Purchaser shall register for and use of the services that other business operators provide on Purchaser’s own responsibility and expense.
1-4.Purchaser shall preliminarily acknowledge and agree both 1) that customs duty may be imposed on purchased Book(s) according to amount or price of Book(s) and 2) that extra shipping cost may be incurred in domestic delivery in Purchaser’s country.
The customs duty for the Book(s) and the extra shipping cost shall be paid by the Purchaser.  Also, AJCC does not any guarantee that Purchaser's order will clear customs.
1-5.Purchaser shall preliminarily acknowledge that it may be difficult or impossible to deliver because of security problem or other domestic situation of country of shipping address or stopover country.
Even if delaying of delivery or loss of purchased Book(s) occurs because of the security problem, etc., AJCC both accepts no liability for any damage, and does not refund the purchase price, delivery cost, or other fees that the Purchaser has already paid.
1-6.Purchaser shall take self-responsibility to use all services related to selling Book(s) through This Site (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”).
1-7.Purchaser shall check content, price, quantity of purchased Book(s) when he/she uses the Service.  Therefore, he/she shall assume all responsibility arising from defaulting of the check.
1-8.Copyright of Book(s) shall all belong to AJCC. Every Purchaser shall not be allowed to reproduce and/or transmit all or part of the Book(s) in any form, by photocopier, microfilm, scanner, or any other means without written permission from AJCC. In addition, Purchaser shall not be allowed to make third party reproduce and/or transmit the Book(s).

Article 2. (Completion of Contract for Sale, Payment, Dispatch)
2-1.Contract for sales between AJCC and user who hopes to purchase Book(s) through This Site (hereinafter referred to as “Applicant”) does not close until both process of offer to purchase by Applicant and sending notice of acceptance by AJCC are completed.
2-2.Purchaser pays the purchase price of the Book(s), packaging cost and shipping cost to AJCC by a payment method specified by AJCC.
2-3.AJCC ships the purchased Book(s) toward him/her within a couple of days after the completion of payment; provided, however, that this shall not apply to the case where the shipping is delayed because of lack of stock or other reason.
Therefore, in the case where the shipping will delay, AJCC will notify the Purchaser of the fact of delay and approximate date of shipping
2-4.The notice of acceptance and/or delay of this Article shall be sent via e-mail transmission that specified in Article 7.

Article 3. (Shipping)
3-1.AJCC ships the purchased Book(s) toward Purchaser via shipping method specified by AJCC.
3-2.AJCC deems that Purchaser receives his/her purchased Book(s) at the time of completion of delivery to the shipping address that he/she specified.
3-3.Proprietary right of purchased Book(s) and any kind of risks related to shipping of purchased Book(s) ,such as loss or breakage of the Book(s), undelivered or delayed of shipping, etc., should shift from AJCC to the Purchaser when AJCC hands the Book(s) over to delivery company.
3-4.In the case where Book(s) returns to AJCC because of the Purchaser’s responsibility, such as defects, incomplete form, incorrect entry of name, address, phone-number, or refusing to receive the Book(s), AJCC may cancel the contract for sale with him/her.

Article 4. (Cancellation)
4-1.AJCC rejects any Purchaser’s cancellation request of his/her purchasing Book(s) after AJCC dispatches the Book(s).
4-2.In the case where Purchaser falls under the following, AJCC is able to cancel Contract for sales with him/her without any notification.
 I.In the case where he/she disobeys AJCC’s order which relates to payment or shipment;
 II.In the case where he/she submits false statements on purchasing offer or other important issues which relates to trading;
 III.In the case both where shipping address etc. specified by him/her has an obvious flaw, and where AJCC cannot make contact with him/her within 7 days from the contract date;
 IV.In the case where he/she violates any provisions of These Term;
 V.In the case where AJCC judges that it is difficult to fill or to continue this contract for sales with him/her;

Article 5. (Returning, Refunding, Replacing)
5-1.AJCC denies every Purchaser’s claim of returning of Book(s) or refunding of purchased price etc. since the Book(s) fall(s) under the category of “copyrighted work”.
5-2.In the case either where Book(s) with missing pages and/or with misplaced pages, or Book(s) different from Purchaser’s order is/are delivered, he/she is able to claim against AJCC.  However, the claim shall be made within 7 days of receipt of the Book(s).
5-3.In the case where AJCC receives the claim of the previous section, 1) AJCC re-delivers necessary part or whole of the Book(s) free from defect when the claim based upon any defect of the Book(s), or 2) AJCC replaces correct Book(s) with the different Book(s) from the Purchaser’s order when the claim based upon the mis-shipment.
5-4.In the case where Purchaser’s claim of 5-2 falls under the following, notwithstanding the provision of the previous section, AJCC is able to deny his/her claim.
 I.In the case where AJCC judges that the defects arise from the Purchaser’s intentionally or negligently;
 II.In the case where delivery of different Book(s) from Purchaser’s order arises from his/her negligently such as his/her mis-order, etc.;
 III.In the case where AJCC receives the Purchaser’s claim after a lapse of period specified in previous section;
 IV.In the case where AJCC judges that the Book(s) have/has no defects;
 V.In the case where AJCC judges that it is difficult or impossible to exchange, to return, etc. of the Book(s);
5-5.In the case where AJCC redelivers or exchanges Book(s) for reasons attributable to AJCC, such as mis-shipment, etc., AJCC pays shipping and handling arise from the redelivering, etc.
5-6.In case where AJCC gives instruction or order to Purchaser about disposal of defective Book(s), he/she shall comply with the instruction etc.

Article 6. (Treatment of Personal Information)
6-1.AJCC is able to use Purchaser’s personal information that he/she wrote or inputted at the time of purchasing Book(s) (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Information”) for the purpose of operation or offer of This Site only.
6-2.AJCC manages Personal Information closely with the care of a good manager. However, AJCC does not warrant or guarantee that the Personal Information leakage, disappearance, falsification and so on will be perfectly prevented.
6-3.AJCC is able to send information related to any service which AJCC provides to Purchasers by using of Personal Information, history information, preference information, etc., and Purchaser shall acknowledge and agree to the usage of information.

Article 7. (Method of Notice)
7-1.Method of notice from AJCC to Purchaser should be (unless otherwise provided for) by sending of E-mail.
7-2.Even though Purchaser has specified to reject E-mail or E-mail newsletter from AJCC, AJCC is able to send him/her notice of acceptance in Article 2 or other important notice of the Services via E-mail or E-mail newsletter.
7-3.Notice sent by E-mail should conclude at the time of completion of sending to an address specified by Purchaser.
7-4.In the case where Purchaser changes a setting of program related to E-mail address that he/she specified at the time of subscription to block junk mails, he/she shall change the setting to permit reception of E-mail from AJCC.  Therefore, AJCC accepts no liability for damages of the Purchaser who does not change the setting caused by the breach.

Article 8. (Indemnification for Damage)
8-1.In the case where Purchaser violates any provisions of These Terms, he/she shall pay all damages, costs and expenses of AJCC and any third party.
8-2.Maximum limitation of indemnity by Purchaser against AJCC shall not extend beyond purchased price of Book(s) that he/she has purchased.

Article 9. (Jurisdiction/Governing Law)
9-1.These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Japan.
9-2.“UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG)” does not apply to all trading through This Site.
9-3.In the case where dispute among Purchaser and AJCC arising association with These Terms, both AJCC and he/she agree that Tokyo district court shall have competent and exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance.
9-4.AJCC provides Purchaser and/or user of This Site with translations of the Japanese language version of These Terms.  Purchaser shall agree that the translations shall be provided for his/her convenience only, and that the Japanese language version of These Terms will govern relationship between AJCC and Purchaser.
